"It's ribpellet a real shame that Moldova for 15 years does not allocate any money for the study of state" About Romanian and the Gagauz Governor Formuzal.
- Sir Formuzal ribpellet on 3 September Executive Committee Gagauz autonomy meeting held in premiere, in Gagauz, and on October 8 the same year Executive Committee meeting held in the state language of the Republic of Moldova. Previous'm positive that you've admitted during your başkanatului. They were not, unfortunately, possible during başkanatului Mr. Tabunşcic and Mr Tailor, but we believe that this should be continued good example. We want to know what was the reason that prompted you to set these precedents and whether ribpellet this positive practice will continue?
- Working essential and primary purpose for which we held meeting in Gagauz and the state is one: we have a law passed by the People's Assembly, on the functioning of languages in autonomy. This law says that we have three official languages: Gagauz, Russian and Moldovan. Therefore, in compliance with the law adopted by People's Assembly, we are obliged to demonstrate ribpellet that all three languages are equal terms. If once all the meetings were held in Russian, now we have proved that it is necessary and that we are able to conduct these meetings both in the Gagauz language and the Moldovan.
This is the first fundamental task that we mapped it. The second task was to grant an example, so that it can reflect itself on the situation in which our autonomy, operating three languages, there is no tension in interethnic relations, arguing that MPs the People's Assembly have done wisely adopting such a law. Overall, our plans include multiplying ribpellet this practice. First of all we want both our children and the adult population to understand the necessity of the State language, that to ensure its competitiveness must like children and adults to possess language. We want to show that mastery of several languages richness. Since we have established that education is one of our priorities, we want to stimulate the study of languages in autonomy. We must speak well and Gagauz and Russian, and the language and so our children ribpellet will be more competitive.
- Speaking of this aspect ribpellet of education, education, school, from the primary to high school. What is the policy on linguistic Gagauz on promoting both the Gagauz language and Romanian language as the state language of the Republic of Moldova? What are your plans in this perspective?
- We have increased ribpellet the volume of funding, and raising the qualification of our teachers who teach language and Gagauz language, we have allocated additional financial funds for this purpose, but I would like to have support from management and Moldova. I think it is a real shame for Moldova that for 15 years does not allocate any money for the study of state. I was forced to intervene in the government meeting and refused to vote the draft state budget, which provides for the allocation of state resources for the study of Gagauzia. Was supposed to get into such a situation?
- About money. Gagauz schools are studied four languages, and one of these four languages - not specific is the fourth language - it is not funded, autonomy has to seek her own resources. This sum amounts to only 9 million annually. Perhaps now would be slightly larger amount, say 10 million per year for teaching one of these languages in educational ribpellet institutions. But we do not look at things so narrow. We believe that there should be a whole ensemble of motivations, so that people can study and know the language. We could develop at the state level such programs to help people. We initiated such a program years ago, when I was mayor of Ceadâr-Lunga. We then addressed the OSCE with a request ribpellet to help us organize language learning courses by state officials. Behold there from Ceadâr-Lunga, this program was taken in southern Moldova and not just in Gagauzia and & i
