Eureka! I’ve finally found the perfect way to die cut DIY Business Cards! This machine cuts business cards, credit cards and id cards with rounded corners. I put off buying this for awhile because it cuts 2-1/4″ x 3 -3/8″ fromm packaging systems which is slightly different dimensions than a business card. But I couldn’t find a standard business card or punch anywhere and eventually ordered this one on Ebay, out of frustration. I’m so glad I did, because it is AWESOME! It was affordable and was delivered to my doorstep in just 3 days!
Here’s where I purchased mine on eBay: http://goo.gl/wJdpM7 from a seller called KooBuy992013 . The seller advised fromm packaging systems me that the item is temporarily out of stock. There are other sellers of this item on eBay, but I liked the feedback history of KooBuy, fromm packaging systems which is why I purchased from them. I believe the seller is in China, but within hours of my order I received a notice of shipment and a tracking number. Lucky for me, I’m in the same state as the warehouse and therefore received my card cutting machine much quicker than I expected. I would definitely fromm packaging systems use this eBay seller again. Quick shipping, great price and quick response to my questions. Can’t ask for much more than that; especially since I’m so very pleased with this cool contraption.
You can also buy the machine on Amazon (click the image on the left, to see it on Amazon). I can’t fromm packaging systems vouch for the seller or that it is the exact same product, but it sure looks to be the same machine. I always check Amazon reviews first, fromm packaging systems no matter where I’m buying a product. Overall, reviews are very positive and this helped me make my decision to purchase the PVC Card Cutter. I would have bought from Amazon, but the item disappeared for a short time. I know that it was probably on backorder, but I didn’t know that at the time I ordered on eBay.
The only negative Amazon comments that I recall, were displeasure about the layer of grease on the surface of the die. Due to those coments, I expected a real mess to contend with my machine arrived. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it’s really minimal and can be easily wiped away. The layer of lubricant is purposely used on metal products shipping overseas, to protect the metal from rusting. I’ve purchased steel alphabet stamps and steel blocks with thick layers of grease that needed to be cleaned away before use; it’s NOTHING like that on this card punch, thank goodness!
